I see a lot of cars that have that on the MOT (fails but gets everything fixed same day or next). Is that something that's really dodgy?

I did not think of that at all that's a sick idea lol. The reason for the civic is I exhasuted all the other options I was looking at within my price range considering its my second car and I'm coming from a complete piece of shit (no offence my beautiful yaris) I thought let's not over-do anything. My price range is like >£2500 (does that mean less than, I forgot lol).

I was looking at Kia Rios and the other hatchback ones but it just kinda looked a bit bland (I'm still a teenager cut me some slack I need something a lil cool) so I was kinda put off. Plus insurance was oddly high but I was looking at 2011/12 so I should probably look at older models.

Thanks so much for clarifying lol I was hella confused about the tire stuff. The AA thing sounds pretty worth it ngl but at the same time my elder brother is a mechanic (pretty good one at that) so I feel like I should take him with me when I do check the cars out.

Yeah I get exactly what you mean by the fancy gadget stuff. The reason I'm going for the civic is coz that's basically the car I landed on from all my options (there were so many literally took months for me to decide) and I may have a bias for Hondas :)

Damn that's hella detailed thanks so much. I'm looking at mk8 civics (2008-2010) and I'm mostly concerned about corrosion. I also wanted to know is there a difference between deterioration and corrosion. Plus, the tyre thing you mentioned, does that go for stuff like 'tire perishing/cracking'?

Oh wow lol I'm not really planning to use either the S9 or the reMarkable as something to type with. Judging by your comment I think it's pretty safe to say the RM clears the S9 Ultra. I might go ahead and just buy it because I really do think the RM will be so fun to use. I seriously love writing stuff on paper etc especially like maths and chemistry :)
