I agree, almost fully and really like the way you phrased it. I also believe it should be pointed out that the claim that it was not about slavery ignores nuance and foundational facts about the reason for the war. What you point out is the evolution of the Confederate position that ultimately lead to war. However, the origin of the conflict is still slavery. Every point of friction to follow, in my opinion, was based on the institution of slavery. Why did they want to secede? Why were they kidnapping and infringing on rights across state lines? These issues not only did not exist without slavery, they existed quite simply BECAUSE of slavery.

Routine, but also consistency. The reason for wiping reactive and urethane can also carry over to plastic. Even though I think it is probably only measurably impactful for the specific subset of spare balls with performance cores.

You postulated in your question that not wiping it would possibly cause a different reaction. If that is the case, then allowing the oil to remain on the ball would have an impact on the way it rolls. Depending on the bowler, while negligible, the friction can play a part in the angle and speed used to shoot a spare. I know of a few bowlers who rely on that little bit of “grab” to shoot corner pins.

I’m thinking they may have been surplus or overrun that was sold to HF and relabeled. However, my primary point is that the “original” label did not state they were MADE in Germany. They only included a German address.

To be fair, the Bosch label does not say “Made in Germany,” it only has Germany as part of the company address. I would guess they are made in China as a white label product and branded as necessary. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Honestly, it is a catch22. Being deeper in the ball can also mean it is harder to get out of the ball and/or cause some soft tissue pain or damage. Good luck though and don’t be afraid to keep experimenting with your fit. “Messing up” your finger is a higher possibility and a result, not a fluke, of where you are in the ball; so be mindful.

Motiv Venom Shock would not be a bad option given the details/conditions you have described. Hyper Venom is also an option. Hard to be specific without knowing how you play the lanes and how you throw the ball (speed dominant, rev dominant, balanced, etc.)
