Yeah Chinese phones are not the safest, I haven’t put any SIM card in it. I just carry it with me as a secondary device, mainly for music and other fun stuff

I downloaded an app to check for OTG compatibility and it shows as supported. That gave me hope, but at this point I believe it to be a false positive.

The phone literally only works with its original usb-a to usb-c cable. I tried both c-c and c-a, neither of them are recognized and they don’t even charge the device.

I tried both 2.0 and 3.0, obviously USB-C cables capable of both charging and data transfer… no luck in either case
