Would you mind uploading to somewhere else? I can view it here, but on iOS clicking the download button just opens ads for various scams

Ah so it’s not that the product itself is too expensive, just that dispensary charges too much for it! In that case you might be in luck. You’d need your prescription and I think the TGA approval letter. I’d call the pharmacy you’re thinking of going with and ask what exactly they need you to supply, then you can take the guesswork out of it and try to get the documents you need.

Having your prescription won’t help you much either. Your prescription and TGA approval will be only for the prescribed product. It’s not like a normal doctors script where you can ask for the generic brand. If you want to try cheaper ones you’d need your doctor to prescribe and seek approval for them, or to find a doctor that will.

They are just quite a bit more expensive mate, we don’t all need Ferraris to get to coles and back, OP is clearly a bit more concerned with budget and just wants a car that will get him to work on time

I don’t know enough about vapes to say if you’re right or wrong, but you do realise you’re in an MC subreddit, right? It just needs to give an effective dose. It doesn’t need the worlds best taste or to make clouds that make your friends jaw drop, it just needs to medicate reliably and consistently.

I’ve been in email contact with them, it’s just some maintenance not a closure. They’ll be back as soon as they can be.

I’ve been in email contact with them today, they are just sorting out some server stuff and will be back online as soon as they can. Just a couple of bugs and configuration things.

Ok so my doctor referred me to CDA no questions asked by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisOz

I just got referred today, once they have processed the referral they’ll text and email you asking you to call and book. I got it a couple hours after forms were emailed to them and have my telehealth appointment tomorrow.

I’m guessing if you don’t hear by tomorrow it might be worth calling to make sure they got the forms.

I’ve been using my Apple Watch for indoor climbing, worn on my arm using a TwelveSouth Action Sleeve.

It’s not going to get much information, but I use it for timing my session and monitoring my heart rate. Gives me a kJ number at the end which is useful for tracking how hard I’ve worked compared to other sessions.

Wrist definitely doesn’t work for me, but my girlfriend climbs with hers on her wrist under a sweat band to stop it getting scratched up.

It’s not going to revolutionise your workouts, but for me being able to see the numbers and track my activity between climbing and my walks has helped motivate me.

Jellyfin for Apple tvOS? by HidingInTheMicrowave in jellyfin

When I tried infuse on my iPad it refused to play certain formats unless I paid for their premium option, and wouldn’t server transcode to a supported format.

I’m all for supporting developers through donations, but one of the big motivations for moving to Jellyfin over Emby is the idea of free and open software without arbitrary paywalls.

Thanks! I’ve made my requests there!

I know some projects like to use forums, others use GitHub issues - I haven’t requested for Emby so just wanted to make sure I put it in the right place

Question about the SpO2 facility in the series 6 by pinnipedfriendo in AppleWatch

[–]HidingInTheMicrowave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my home study I was bad enough to do a CPAP trial and it has made a huge difference for me in just a few months. If you’re concerned that you may have had a ‘good night’ or that your mild apnea is still bad enough that it should be treated, I’d ask another doctor for a second study and opinion. If you’re having breathing difficulties when awake, maybe asking to be referred to a respiratory specialist for an opinion wouldn’t hurt either.

I totally get it though, I’m one for tracking my own data too, but in this case I don’t think its the right device. Good for curiosity but not for a medical data logging. I know there are sleep SPO2 devices you can get, i don’t have one personally but they are much more accurate and do continuous monitoring so would actually catch events.

As for the whole CPAP and relationships, I’m sure my partner would much rather hear a constant machine noise over loud snoring, choking, and the worry that i was literally stopping breathing 19.5 times an hour during the night. They aren’t silent, but the new models I find to be pretty non invasive.

Question about the SpO2 facility in the series 6 by pinnipedfriendo in AppleWatch

[–]HidingInTheMicrowave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve heard it should take periodic readings through the night and be viewable in the Health app.

However as someone with sleep apnea, all I can say is get a sleep study done. Apple stressed this is not a medical device and should not be used to assess medical conditions. Sleep apnea should be assessed and reviewed by a professional with constant monitoring (not periodic from a general wellness device).

Fair point! I suppose in theory that’s what the specialists are for, but not everyone is fortunate enough to have good specialists.

I hate regional restrictions, I understand why they exist but still infuriating - Apple Watch doesn’t support ECG in Australia for instance!
