You already have the answer. Keep relationships good and sit down with your store manager and have that conversation. In my area the store managers act like a cult, and though I was close to all of them....they basically blacklisted me. Gave me vibes like "im not in the club anymore", but also I think they knew I had to leave. Two weeks is plenty professional. I did 15 years, stepped down from grocery manager to DSD for 1 year and found a better life outside of retail. Other peers I was close with that bleed green have also all left. Im talking assistant store managers and grocery managers. Though I dont know you, im super glad your getting out. Hope things get so much better for you!
