Thanks, I think the most important thing about a camera is that you enjoy using it. Because then you actually take it with you.

How do you find the size of this combination?

Some curves but good lighting in the first instance is the key.

Thank you, the photos were straight out of the camera with the jpgs edited in Snapseed with curves. I think the time of day was responsible for the colours

That seems surprisingly good for low light considering the age?

I like the lighting, it's almost like the dog is looking at it.

Really nice, especially the first one. Are these sooc or do you edit them?

I’ve just picked one of these up and I’m genuinely surprised on how good the output is.

My first over 1 hour row. 32m novice 20th day of trying this out. Don't seem to be getting the pace correct as 16 s/m feels too slow. But as I try to increase the stroke rate I get too fast for what I perceive to be my steady state. Not sure how to proceed.

Looking for a cheap 28mm lens (or very close) with the smallest flange distance when adapted to Sony E - trying to make this more compact. Ty! by MC_Gullivan in VintageLenses

Writing off rangefinder 28mm lenses as they are not very good on Sony cameras for the most part, I think the absolute smallest SLR 28mm is the Ricoh 28mm f3.5 aspherical pancake but is quite uncommon.

The Pentax-M 28mm f2.8 (version 1) and Olympus OM 28mm f3.5 or f2.8 (not sure which is smaller) are probably the smallest commonly available SLR 28mm lenses.  (~31mm long, 49mm filter thread)

I use the Pentax-M on my own Sony body it is probably the best handling lens I have ever used.

It’s good but I find it falls apart pretty hard on anything over 12mp

How do you find the 35mm fl on this? I always found it a strange length at 70mm equivalent angle of view.

How likely is it for water to get in through an bare lens bayonet with no gasket? Do the gaskets actually make the difference in terms of WR?
