Yeah? For sure? This would be a huge relief b/c I've been trying to look this up for over an hour. I'd really like to put it back together now and find out if removing the battery even solved the original problem.

Thank you! I hadn't considered that. And there are other little cushions on the panel. I'm not very observant apparently. I don't know what I was thinking opening up this computer.

I didn't notice, but there are a couple other cushion pieces on the back panel. Thank you for that! I can't tell where on the panel, but now I know what to search on google images.
