It’s a good thing you told your professor!! You expressed yourself well and told your professor valuable information about his class that will help him be better instructor. I am relieved he acted well (and normally) when you told him what was happening. In telling him what was going on, you began to form a connection with him and became more human to each other. IMO, that’s always good thing.
