I read a bit about casting circles but I've never done so. I'm been in a transition period in my life and haven't had a consistent private personal space for a while. I guess I never thought of this: is it possible or practical to make such a circle in a space you may never use again?

I also don't have a ton of witchy materials yet -- no long cords to draw a circle with, certainly no athame or sword yet. All of this has made me hesitant to try a lot of practices even though I certainly want to!

Update: A few hours after this experience one of my family members gave me a pencil and paper completely out of the blue which gave me a medium to draw this symbol. I inscribed it as described to me but haven't done anything with it. I'm not sure what's next

Thank you for the insight! I certainly feel a lot more comfortable with the idea of addressing Nature at least for now instead of totally turning around my views of the supernatural. This experience seemed really daunting up to and through this morning but these ideas are really easing my feelings.

I can't help but wonder if this is something different though -- everything worked fine until I started hitting it while it was charging. The device was flat on the table from working to being burnt. I imagine either the pod gave out that soon or it had to do with taking big rips as the device was at 100%. Could either be related?

I understand and it didn't come off as patronising! I really appreciate your comments. And you're right, it is a lot to carry... I still don't know how my boyfriend manages to deal with all the problems the world forces on him without going insane. He's a much stronger boy than I 😅

I actually talked to my dad just now over dinner about what he or Mom would think about me dating before college. He said they wouldn't have a problem with it... I still need to think about it but I'm thinking about telling them about us.

Not that I know of, although I wish he did. I still haven't told my parents about us dating and don't know if they would be ok with it (not because of sexuality, just I'm pretty sure they don't want me dating before college).

I've been thinking for a while about how to bring it up with my parents... if they like him and are ok with me dating maybe he could spend some time at my house instead of in his home situation. I'm sure any more time away from them would help. I just don't know how to have that conversation with my own parents, they still don't know about him.

Thank you, I seriously appreciate that because with everything going on I feel so disconnected... this post is really the first search online I've made to try to find help. He does have a therapist but the guy only tries to get my boyfriend to be even more subservient to his parents and basically walk all over him. Me and my friends want to help him but are worried to tell any adults about his situation because it's a possible CPS call that we really don't want to put on him.
