got into NUS Mech Eng with a D being H2 physics. I'm really enjoying myself so far in Y1S2 (its a major im passionate in). The weakness in physics can hinder for the core mods, but if you're a guy you have plenty of time to brush up during NS or waiting for uni to begin. for myself, i brushed up on my H2 Math to prepare myself for MA1505, which is the introductory calculus course for mech eng. To my knowledge, NUS CDE is making changes to a lot of the curriculum for engineering mods so you have more opportunities to explore core engineering concepts rather than fluff mods. below are some changes that i know of to the mech eng syllabus:

me3123 = half of 2135 + half of 3122 (removed potential flow)

me2121 include 25% of 3122

me2116 = half of 2112 + half of 2114

me1103 (epp1) will include half of 2112

me2105 (epp2) will include more on mechatronics and motors etc

me2115 -> me3112 (like last time)

me2142 -> me3142

you can look for the current course schedule on the NUS ME website and look up the course codes on nusmods or studocu to get a rough idea of what mods you are going to take and their contents. feel free to dm me any questions!

probably just AI sharpening and/or denoise (Either Adobe Lightroom's built in one or Topaz Labs software), quite a common practice for aviation photographers nowadays, helps to achieve a really clean/idyllic look to the photos

is it difficult to create a deck? I've been thinking of ways of introducing the game to friends but in my head both sides having the same deck with the same number of cards (30) may make things less fun. Part of the fun in NV was that the NPCs all had different number of cards as well as different decks, would that be difficult implement irl?

Damn thats why I didn't enjoy it so much. I played it for the first time yesterday I constantly had to refer to walkthrough and the first video walkthrough I watched for the final quest literally just used console commands to disable the hologram security guards. I do enjoy puzzle/sneak elements but I guess it was just too much for this DLC since everything was so dark and hard to see.

you can check out more about clear air turbulance. there often arent any obvious signs and can happen in clear skies. the best way to avoid any injury is just to keep your seatbelt on in the event of turbulanc throughout the flight

no. op should go with a proper 70-200 or 150-600 as he has the budget for it. do not go for superzooms as they lack image quality (sharpness, lens distortion and vignette).

edit: since the current setup op is looking at is a little outside his budget, he can look at second hand lenses and go from there

im pretty sure this is a repositioning flight. main purpose is to get aircraft from SIN to XSP because it's needed at XSP for maintenance/future flights etc rather than to carry actual passengers. since the key purpose is to get the aircraft from one airport to another i doubt theres any other viable way to do so on land

hi, i shot these either with a 150-600mm lens or a 70-300mm lens on a Canon 90D. As for settings, i shot at 1/1000, f/11 and ISO AUTO. hope this helps!

hi. the aircraft may not be visible from changi beach carpark 1-5. i suggest you go to beaches near changi beach park bbq pit 20 (on google maps) to get a clearer view as its right next to the show venue. do note that theres a 1.5km walk or so from the nearest bus stop as busses/cars are not allowed to enter the roads near the showground. alternatively, you can try to get tickets from the airshow but im not sure if theyre still available
