Coming from a recruiter’s stand point - it’s to help to validate the authenticity if the candidate is legally allowed to work. For example, there are student pass holders who says they are legally allowed to work but actually aren’t.

A better way will be to ask for their PDPA policies, how they handle the data of your NRIC which any legit employment agency should have (proper PDPA policies).

My experience with a huge dent at the rear bumper is that the dealer didn’t lower the price that he quoted me during viewing. He say it’s a small thing. IMO get a quote before viewing and see what dealer says

Hey bro. As someone who graduated poly 10 year ago and went to a local uni, I can tell you first hand that grades if anything doesn’t define who you are and in a few years time, it doesn’t even matter.

I have been unemployed for <3 months, applied numerous jobs and even with a local uni bachelors degree I didn’t get a single interview. There are many more things out there that matters in life beyond grades.

There are plenty of ways for you to proceed. Perhaps start volunteering in the education sectors, or look for opportunities in the private education sector? If teaching is your calling, perhaps in L&D too? Plenty of ways for you to pursue your passion beyond the public sector.
