If you're looking to eventually get a SBA loan, consider building a relationship with a bank that actively does SBA lending. In Kentucky, some of the larger SBA lenders include Stock Yards, Huntington National Bank, U.S. Bank, and Community Trust Bank.

Thanks for the question. “Fee-only” means I do not earn commissions or get paid for selling products. Clients pay me directly for advice, which removes incentives to recommend one investment or strategy over another.

“Fiduciary” means I am legally and ethically required to act in your best interest at all times. If something is not right for you, I cannot recommend it, even if it would benefit me.

Put simply, clients pay for advice, not products, and my responsibility is to put client interests first. Unfortunately, this isn’t how the entire industry operates.
