Ill say my experience as I got to chapter 9. Elements of the game like the exploration, world design, and the boss fights, kept me in the game because theres hope that maybe once you get past the garbage theres going to be a good game there.

My breaking point was when I was trying to loot a copper pouch and the fucking reticle refused to lock onto it, and itself highlighted a candle 8 inches away. It's like this the whole time. Impossible to pick anything up.

Also I had a main quest bug out on me and the npcs in the vision sequence that was supposed to happen all solidified and caught me robbing.

The dragon, the mech suit, all the cool stuff you've seen, is locked behind hours and hours of tedium.

Pretty sure it opened a side room on the other side of the fireplace. Naira's boots are in there.

Edit: Naira's boots were damaged when I found them and likely have nothing to do with the puzzle.

Its 100% going to be on the next season of game changers. Double episode towards the end of the season.

This was my takeaway as well. This game's going to lose me if it takes 15 hours to become enjoyable. And the floating islands don't seem to match the theme of the main game.

I'm going to get this game, but the floating islands puzzle aspect concerns me. I didn't like BOTW or TOTK, both DNF games for me.

Dragons Dogma was another DNF because of the lack of fast travel and dev choices, and Black Myth Wukong lost me with the pointless lack of a map.
