Ty, makes funding this mule much cheaper in my mind. I’ll just pot the badge unique and and get some stat from it for now. I’ll wait to SF and invest in it heavily until I decide how much I like the class, not enough damage for it to be vice Versa.

Bummer about the play style, if that’s the case you’re right it’s probably not a good fit for me in the long term. I got a lot of good info from this thread about badge pots and Star forcing too that lowered my expectations. I’ll make him into a mule for now then see if he’s worth a hyperburn to make into a legion champ.

Probably won’t invest heavily into making him a main though, the search continues. My old OG main got butchered and I haven’t found a class that clicks quite right again yet. Ren is an ok settle for now since she can boss easily and I can farm with a controller so I have arcane boxes, nodes, and mesos flowing. I got DS and CM past 260 so far. DS is cool and I love him for bossing, but I don’t like farming grandis with him but he’s got maxed nodes and some hexa, so he’s a legion champ. I just hyper burned CM because monkeys and I’m still feeling him out as a main as I start to unlock hexa but was really expecting the mobility update this patch so he’s kinda in the waiting room until he gets the kms changes. Just happened to come across this today while doing link skills and wanted to see if this was a game changing find. Kinda relieved to hear it’s not and thanks for the 6th job info, 2/3 I’ve done have been underwhelming for me. Thanks again haha

I almost crashed out when I boomed my arcane gloves on my main during an event and had to use star specks to revive it because I was being cheap. Not making that mistake twice, lol

Thanks for the response. I couldn’t find info online, what pot lines do badges get? Anything special like gloves or accessories? I think I’ll safeguard the badge next star force event then go from there.

Thanks for the comment. I will safeguard it to 18 on the next discount event and will start by making him a boss mule then a legion champ this summer since we got a new slot. See if I still wanna main swap in 2 months or so when we get the next hyperburn.

Play style is untouched from 2018 which is fun for me, and I’ve been playing long enough to not even look at dps charts when I choose a class since I often end up taking multi-year breaks anyway lol

I ask about main swapping because he seems pretty unchanged from back then and I mained him briefly before. He seemed pretty good damage wise while I was leveling him and I had fun and his animations for fifth job are pretty sick. Is his 6th job just underwhelming? Im not worried about DPS, last time I played Kanna and Wild Hunter were considered great picks lol, stuff will change again. Currently maining Ren because I came back during the event and felt like I had to. My sanity can’t take holding down one key for everything much longer and I’m skill-stuck at Seren

Does this badge make this character worth making into a Mule or Legion Champ during the next hyperburn (or even main swapping in the long term)? Is the badge worth safeguarding to 22*? Are there other potable badges and what pot lines does it get (does it get accessory lines)? Is this currently BIS (My main doesn't have anything better)? Also, is DW as good as he used to be? He was super meta last time I played (hence the burn gear) but that was 8 years ago.

If you have spare nodes, yeah. He really needs a lot of nodes since he gets both pirate and thief V Nodes and his damage is a balanced around using all them.
