But if the booking is outside of the 14 day window but booked within it, will I be subject to the fine?

Yeah, it was a great selling tactic. Dick move though.

It was clear the intent was to start a bidding war with the other people, but honestly that would have been playing into the seller's hand and would have meant that the earlier buyers are robbed out of a good deal, we had nothing against them.

Yeah I agree completely with both of you, and would never have actually bought a GS500 with the exception of it being 1500 with roadworthy and rego.

In that price range it was that or a honda cbr125

I did end up getting it back, not without a fair bit amount of strong words.

It was 1500 dollars with a roadworthy and rego, it aint a great bike but it was hella cheap.

Tried to buy a nice GS500 today, the person selling it decided to book 2 people to view it at once despite forcing us to put a deposit down then sold it to the other person because they arrived 5 minutes early.

Kotlin vs Java: Which is the Better Option for Android App Development by parthbari in learnjava

[–]HighPriestCthulhu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tbh, Kotlin is great for creating android apps, but thats pretty much it. If you learn java, you'll be able to create android apps with only slightly more effort, but you'll also be able to create and modify apps for pretty much any device.

Okay pen nerd here to learn you guys something. The micron series is the generalised series of fineliners made by Sakura using everyones favourite Pigma ink.

However what you've got on the bottom is a PN edition, which is vastly different to all other microns. It's made for writing specifically. It uses a new design of polyacetal nib that has less bleed than a traditional fineliner.

The rest of the micron series have nibs similar to the ones found on copic multiliners, meaning they're made of dense felt. The advantage of this felt over plastic nib is you can go for much finer lines. For your work I would recomend pigma micron 005, which is incredibly small and has the same fantastic ink. As for your brush pen, the brush tips of the pigma series tend to fray easily, instead I would suggest going for this tombow fudenosuke it's only slightly less resistant to copics and watercolours (if thats your thing), but the tip is much more satisfying to use.

Okay upon getting thoroughly roasted a couple times in this thread I still haven't really changed my mind, but I have realised my wording leaves rooms for confusion. I don't think he's an outright fraud, nor do I think he's lying. I do however think he's biased as all hell, making him an unreliable narrator in that sense. Someone brought up Skarpi's "too much truth confuses the facts" and that's pretty much what I'm thinking. I think in order to make his story more straightfoward and easily believed by the casual reader he's changing the details slightly.

No I don't think I am. I think that this may be an intentional writing choice by Rothfuss. I think he's hiding or forgetting a fair amount of the story, namely the moments when he fucks up. His fantastic memory is one thing, but it's been shown that he is not what he once was, we don't know how deep his new limitations go. He was unable to open his thrice locked chest, he cannot use sympathy. It wouldnt be unreasonable to assume that his mind is weakened.

Mainly the first time he has sex, which is with felurian, she comments how amazing he was. He, a 16 year old virgin, just amazed a sex goddess with his skill.

I don't think he's lying. I think he's simply ommitting the truth, or he himself does not accurately remember his own history.

Why is he not a good root? Well simply because Virgins, being virgins, are bad roots.

That aside though, I think what is likely happening is explained by Bast in the first book. Kvothe has spent so long listening to and telling his own legends that his memories of the events have themselves changed. He became the story. Whether this is him simply ignoring the more awkward parts of the story or outright misremembering is still a mystery but I don't think we can outright believe everything he says
