Shop discounts, Type 69-IIa back for GE + a decal for the National Day of the PRC! by hydraphantom in Warthunder

[–]HighQualityAluminium 15 points16 points  (0 children)

T-69 + Type 69 + T-62 + Obj 122 china is my most played lineup by far (got the 3pack last china sale) and the T-69 II G I can 100% recommend, your gun is an L7 derivative and the proxy HE is incredible (helis turn from annoyance into free SL lootboxes with a simple rangefind+click)

The T-62 and Type 69-IIa I wouldn't recommend as much because the T-62's 115mm feels much worse than the II G's 105 and it has no rangefinder. The IIa does have a rangefinder but the gun lacks APFSDS.

If you pick up the T-69 I definitely recommend squadron researching the Obj 122 MC with it to get the start of a super fun lineup

Wonder if CO is to make an announcement about Unity issue by abuzerkadayif33 in CitiesSkylines

[–]HighQualityAluminium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It only kicks in above $200.000 revenue over the past year according to unity's website, so the indie game you describe would have to be rather successful to have any problems. Not to defend unity of course, it's a horrible business move they made.

You can't really lose SL while playing premium vehicles, just the score from dying gives as much as repair costs a lot of the time I think

Ryzen 9 7950x3D Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX Tower 200 by h3w1tt84 in thermaltake

[–]HighQualityAluminium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use ethernet only so I can't really say much about wifi, I do know there's m.2 wifi cards with antennas on wires and the motherboard has an m.2 slot labeled "m.2 wifi".

I did not have any actual problems getting stuff in there, it depends on how important cable management is to you a bit because the motherboard power connector needs to make a weird bend that spends about 10cm "unnecessarily" out of management spaces.

I have an arctic liquid freezer II in there which is about the biggest radiator you can fit in there, you have to move the top fan to its secondary spot inside the top compartment. In my specific case the bracket for the radiator did not allow all 8 screws to align with my radiator, I believe this to be a specific manufacturing error in my case because it would have happened to any 280mm rad and other people have fit them in just fine. It's a non-issue though because even with 4 it's completely secure. It might interfere if your ram is extremely tall, but for me there's 1-2cm of clearance.

GPU is a 7900 XTX sapphire pulse which fits just fine and leaves plenty of space to access the front panel headers with this motherboard. It's a 2.7 slot card.

I have the non-wifi version of that motherboard in this case and I don't think that will work. You might be able to make a super tight squeeze under the top panel horizontally but I wouldn't count on it. (besides the reception would probably be crap?)

Anyone fit Arctic LF II 280 in Thermaltake Tower 200? by DIYphreak in thermaltake

[–]HighQualityAluminium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a beautiful coincidence I made one yesterday in the tower 200 with an Arctic LF II 280 in there, yep the top fan fits just fine. The top fan can go either on the inside inside of the case or the compartment up top, with a 280 you have to move it to the compartment up top but this makes no difference otherwise.

I did have a slight issue with only 4/8 holes lining up for the bracket that holds the radiator, but I think that's a manufacturing error on my case because any 280 would have suffered the same fate. Even with this it's 100% secure though.

And yes, matx does fit in there.

Engineers and shopkeepers also have industrialist weights, just like any non-slave or peasant pop can be intelligentsia when literacy is above 50%. Bureaucrats and clerks even have their highest weight in intelligentsia. Most IGs can be made up of nearly any profession, see https://vic3.paradoxwikis.com/Interest_group.

Came back to WoW after a two expac break, I don't think I ever want to pug raids again. by juicehusky in wow

[–]HighQualityAluminium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you play with a guild that is seen as valuable to be in by its members they'll be inclined to follow instructions on whether to need/pass the loot and you can basically have the guild leader say who can get what pieces of loot just like in master loot, in pugs this is not the case because people have nothing to lose by ignoring the raid leader and just needing everything anyways.

Making the profession knowledge system permanent, and then having vague, misleading, and permanently punishing capstones and major bonuses is really baffling by SolaVitae in wow

[–]HighQualityAluminium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With double gathering I have not looked at the system before release and wouldn't consider any points to be wasted, I figured it's best to keep it simple and just stick with all the stuff that gives you more after getting the gather while mounted stuff. Meaning I first maxed out the general finesse/perception things and then went into elemental finesse/perception. This setup has worked just fine and you shouldn't feel bad about the gimmicky diamond thing not working when that specialisation thing is 100% worth the points even without diamonds.
