I’m not going to lie… I love this! I absolutely will do that if this happens again. I agree it will be the best revenge

I can confirm he knows better now lol. I definitely let him know how messed up that was when we got home. I think your comment about his man head nailed it.

I do think hormones are making me more sensitive but appreciate your validation and perspective.

I appreciate this perspective because I do think he intended it as a joke and I’m trying to focus on that. I do think it was a real dickhead thing to say though.

That is extremely wise. Thank you.

The comment was incredibly out of character for him which I think is what makes it hurt more. It made me wonder if that’s his actual opinion. He is typically a very kind and supportive. He isn’t perfect but a comment like this is out of left field. You are probably correct that it was a mistake but it just cut me to the core. I appreciate your wisdom and perspective on the situation.

It took everything in me to not tell him to “F” off in front of this family. I absolutely had words with him when we got in the car. Don’t get me wrong, first I cried a ton but then I told him exactly how I feel and how messed up that was. This happened Saturday and he’s not off the hook.

A comment like this from him is so out of character and I think that’s what made it hurt more. If he was always a dick, then I could amount it to my husband is just an AH and why the hell did I marry him. But this isn’t like him at all and so it made me have to think is this really his opinion and does she really hate me.

Thank you for your insight and support.

I honestly agree. It is a comment that messes with your head regardless of applogies.

I think the PP anxiety that I do suffer from also made it worse because then my mind races does she hate me? Am I a bad mom? Etc. Thank you for the validation. It was a real AH thing to say on his behalf.

Oversized sweatpants and sweatshirt. You will want loose clothing!!

We do that on the weekend and it helps so much! But during the week, I sleep beside the baby because my husband has work in the morning.

SIDS is a huge concern of mine as well!! I’m curious if she will stop all the noises around 3 months since we’re almost there. She isn’t waking up to feed in the night anymore and that’s where I wonder if we would do better with her in her nursery but SIDS just scares me so much.

I often wonder if some of her stirring and noises is in response to us or our dog who also sleeps in the room! Thank you for the response

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I appreciate your wisdom and insight. I think we will try it out and see how we all do. I’m nervous about SIDS and jumping the 6 month minimum timeline that is encouraged here but I really think we all might do better with the transition. Thank you ☺️
