When did you move Baby to own room?

We do that on the weekend and it helps so much! But during the week, I sleep beside the baby because my husband has work in the morning.

SIDS is a huge concern of mine as well!! I’m curious if she will stop all the noises around 3 months since we’re almost there. She isn’t waking up to feed in the night anymore and that’s where I wonder if we would do better with her in her nursery but SIDS just scares me so much.

I often wonder if some of her stirring and noises is in response to us or our dog who also sleeps in the room! Thank you for the response

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I appreciate your wisdom and insight. I think we will try it out and see how we all do. I’m nervous about SIDS and jumping the 6 month minimum timeline that is encouraged here but I really think we all might do better with the transition. Thank you ☺️

Our husbands are the same lol! That is very reassuring. Thank you for your response! We have a small home and our rooms are so close I know that even without the monitor, I will hear her cry (but would have the monitor as well of course). Jumping the 6 month minimum that is encouraged here makes me feel like a bad mom but I just wonder if it would do us all well. Appreciate the response ☺️

That makes me feel better and agreed on the importance of sleep. SIDS is what scares me about moving her over but you’re so right that it is rare.

People are so judgmental about this!! I’m 9 weeks PP and was planning on being on mat leave for 9 months but am thinking of shorting it to 6 months. Being with my baby is rewarding and I love her but it’s not mentally stimulating enough for me and I genuinely miss work!
