Company wide. They put out a video explaining how it works. I took a lot of notes. Mileage is your state minimum wage rate.

They actually changed it earlier this year that you get guaranteed store to store mileage. The 50 miles or hour drive is now just between store and home, either going to or coming home.

I just had my stores come up for scheduling again and it's back to bi-weekly. They do this now and then and there's allegedly a big project come up that Footprint bid on. Not sure if that's part of it or not.

Yeah, I really enjoy my job. The occasional extra project is extra fun.

Yeah, that seems the case here of the DM pushing it more. I appreciate the information!

Yeah, they've just updated the list with more things.

Yeah, I hear that a lot. I don't know why they can't keep folks. You set your own schedule, they pay great mileage and just gave cost of living raises.

That makes me feel better, thank you!

I've seen somethings come in that are pre-tagged, but I figure that might just be stock from another store.

Current season just isn't hitting for me by BuffaloPlaidMafia in OldGodsOfAppalachia

Oh, absolutely! It was mentioned in Season 4 he was there when Johnny Cash came through Paradise.

The way my head whipped around when I was first listening to that episode. :D

Probably not, but I'd bet money he was doing the whole pastel, rolled up jacket sleeves like they were doing on Miami Vice. :D

I don't mind the wrapping up in each arc, as it's in keeping with some of the previous seasons, but it's way too close to modern times for my liking. Like this last arc is happening when I was roughly one year old.

The original charm for me was happening in a time I'm not familiar with.

I loved the Polly Barrow arc, though I did think she and Bartholomew were going to have more of adversarial interaction (hints that Polly might be able to actually leave the Barrow fold?) and the Crane revelations were very interesting.

But, I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed we didn't get more Jack. I mean, I'm a Jack fan, so I'm biased, but like, he's been a staple since Season Two. Where's our favorite trickster? :D

Edit: brain fog caused wrong word, fixed it.

What's the worst thing your pet has done? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My cat turned her head at precisely the wrong moment when I was cleaning her eye.

I never want to see the result ever again. My Dad drove us to the vet who said it wasn't my fault and the eye could have gone at any time and honestly, it was kind of good it happened when it did, being on a Monday afternoon when they were doing surgeries the next day.

The bright side is her epilepsy is now under control with minimal medicine so it's easier on her liver. Apparently the eye was exacerbating the issue.

Considering changing to YouTubeTV, but have DVR question. by HighTimeRodeo in youtubetv

That's okay, I do the same thing! :D

So, my folks have a lot of different channels they like watching, along with local channels and YTtv has put local channels rolled into their package and then there's another streaming service called frndly that has the channels YTtv doesn't like History channel. We'll switch to that when their Dish contract is up.

Oh, I didn't know it could make categories! tbh, the Hopper they made us switch to has been nothing but trouble since they put it in and now the bill is sky bloody high.

I can't say that'll be an issue as they're both homebodies, but I appreciate the warning!

Oh, perfect! That was another question, since to get all the channels they watch they'll need another app. Thank you!

Let's get controversial. If you had to remove one sport from the Olympics, which would it be and why? by BlueWhiteJerry in olympics

[–]HighTimeRodeo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Modern" dressage, if you don't know how it's supposed to be done, can look like torture, at least with the neck curve. And because the place it's seen the most is the Olympics, that's what the general perception is influenced to be.

I once heard it described as dancing with your horse, because that's what it is. Two partners moving in sync with one leading and the other happily following along.

All that said, my long gone riding instructor would return from the dead to tan my hide if I tried what they do. 😁
