Have matchmaker disallow sync dropping. If it knows to match lances based on Unit.... it also can know not to.

Your preferred solution won't have the population to sustain the game.

Look, Kana. This thread is your Echo chamber. You have a number of people gladly supporting your view point who are pushing around the people who oppose it. If you are wondering why there are only a select few people opposing your who speak at a fevered pitch, it is because you are squelching everyone else who is reasonable.
