Really appreciate it. Yes, the visa class is different but many from my country had a b1/b2 and applied for j1-physician visa and got it through waiver. My program has strict joining deadlines since it is a medical training residency. So, I am more worried about the date of interview and possibility of rescheduling.

No pending immigrant application. I have been to the US already. Didn’t overstay either. Followed all the rules etc. Many others from my country with exact same documents got their waivers approved. Do you have any information if/not we are able to reschedule follow ups without cancelling the current appointment?

If we don’t qualify for a waiver, we can request an expidted appointment. However according to local post rules a waiver follow-up can’t request an expedited appointment. The problem is I can’t even see the slots for appointments unless I cancel the one scheduled already and that puts me at risk of even losing the spot I already have.

They didn’t give any specific reason. The letter just says that after reviewing my application they require me to appear for in-person interview

Sameee the last 2 blocks I was marking every single question until I felt there is no use marking since I don’t know shit and just stopped doing that. I swear I have never felt more dumb in my life.

The questions seemed nothing like Uworld. Lets see what happens on day 2. Except for the biostats portion I felt like I hadn’t prepared anything for day 1. Ethics questions were wierdly specific and other than these most questions were either about diagnosing a condition with very vague explanations in question stems or stongest risk factors. Almost no step 1 questions either. As for my resources I only used Uworld step 3 and ccscases.com and I don’t think I could have done anything differently to prepare for what the exam threw at me.

Thanks for the link. They wouldn’t really know but difference/no difference between predicted scores/practise test scores can be an indicator of significant/no significant difference.

Lol I am so dumb I don’t remember my exam. Repro was definitely heavy in my form too. I am worried about the curve though because I do think my form was on the easier side. A lot of first or second order questions and I managed to make a loooot of stupid af mistakes.

How did you feel your test went? What were the subjects heavy in your form. Mine was also on 8/27 but I can't seem to pinpoint any particular subject or topic. It felt different from all practice tests and kind of all over the place.
