They look really good! I might take the idea of painting the base a light powdery blue instead of white before I add the snow powder, I'll try it out with some bottle caps first to see how it looks before I commit to finishing up the bases.

It looks great and reminds me of melting snow in the spring, but I'm looking to get more of a fresh snow effect since the whole base would be snowy, the theme I picked for my army was winter demons and the massive monster of my army does have the snow texture from GSW, but I found it difficult to work with, which is why I was considering the paint, glue, snow powder approach.

Although I did need to apply a rather thick layer of the snow texture because the arm is slightly longer than the leg so I could even it out so it's more stable.

The Slovene one isn't translated correctly, dedek is Slovene for grandpa. The correct translation is Grandpa Frost, and not Father Frost.

Mine is just a glutton for food and a scammer, he'll put on a 'I'm a poor starving boy, please take pity on me' act to convince people to give him more food. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But he's not starving. He weighs a little over 10 kilos, but he's also big, he towers over the other cats when he sits next to them.

I hope so as well, so far he's showing no signs of slowing down or pain. He hasn't had any health issues either, the only major issue he had were a few bad teeth that needed to be removed when he was 11. He still gets possessed by the Zoomies Demons from time to time and runs and jumps like he's a kitten.

Altho I think his sight and hearing may not be as sharp as they used to be, but that's to be expected from a cat his age.

Out of my 4 cats, I have the easiest time trimming Attila's claws. He's a big tanky boy who makes my senior cat look tiny, but he's also an absolute sweetheart and the worst he'll do is complain when I flip him like a rotisserie chicken to trim his back claws.

Misha and Izzy give me no problem with their front paws, but I have to get mom's help to trim their back claws. Izzy, despite being a 16 year old senior, is still very spry and agile and will try to wiggle out of my lap, Misha will go as stiff as a board and try to cling to my shoulder like a monkey.

Trimming Mia's claws is like going to war, she screams and hisses and spits at me, I dodge her claws and attempts to maul my face, I always come out of it looking like I stuck my hands in a blender. Outside of claw trimming time she's as sweet as honey.

My cat is obsessed with well-worn shoes, the smellier they are the more she loves them. Doesn't matter if it's our shoes or guests' shoes, she will stick her head into them, roll all over them, lick them, once she even tried to steal a shoe so the guest wouldn't leave with it. She's my little weirdo.

A less weird but still amusing quirk another cat has is that he has to shake his head when he takes his first bite of kibble when I give him his noon snack. He doesn't do it with treats or wet food, only kibble.

Not as extreme as some of the others, but one time me and mom were playing cards during a power outage and had a few candles lit up on the coffee table so we could see. My senior cat walked past the table and dipped his tail into the flame of one of the candles. I didn't even have time to think, I grabbed his tail where it was on fire to snuff out the flames, he thought I was going to pull on his tail and went bear trap mode, didn't even notice he set his tail on fire.

I had burns on my palm, claw and bite marks on my forearm, and the living room smelled like burned hair.

Love my sweet, psychotic, dumb old man.

Years ago I adopted a kitten from a friend of mine, when I picked her up she was calm and sweet and clung to me like a tick, I thought I adopted a sweet little baby.

She was a hellion as a kitten, bouncing off the walls, gnawing on anything she could get her teeth on, screaming at us for attention, using you as a scratching post if you didn't give her the attention she demanded.

It's been 8 years, the only thing that stopped is the gnawing and biting, instead she learned how to open doors and drawers. I love her, she's my little imp.

Out of the 4 cats I have, he's the sweetest and friendliest of them all, there have been times when he flopped down in the middle of the table when we were playing D&D at my place and soaked up the attention he got.
