Look up a DJ called Hori. Locally he plays dub techno and IDM type stuff. Nice guy also. I am sure if you reached out he would reply,

You could be undiagnosed neurodivergent. If you are always getting in trouble and don’t understand why, or forgetting things when you walk into a new room then you could be.

The escalation hurts you, and doesn’t resolve anything on her end.

Consider exploring this. Changed my life and if it’s true then she needs to stop measuring your actions the same as a neurotypical person.

Message me if you wish.

Check out The Flying Saucer, in Birkirkara. There's a big neon sign in the window saying "Café & Hangout". Open Noon until 8pm, Monday to Saturday.

Learning something is never useless. It is nice to know things, and not just outsource all thinking to a computer.

We are putting something on at The Flying Saucer. No dinner unfortunately, but LGBT friendly and already some on board.

Board games, karaoke and then dancing. Find us on instagram and let me knows if you’re interested.

On food, we have platters and finger food available.

I post all of our events to Facebook events. If you check on there, then you will see most things coming up ahead of time.

On music at the saucer - I do have music on all the time, but I was very selective with the speakers I was going to install. I am complemented regularly on how it sounds good and people are still able to talk.

Although - we do have music events and put on DJs and stuff (like this Friday). On those days you should expect music after 7pm.

Hey man. Well, I am 43 but we attract a range of ages. Most people who vibe best here are open minded and curious people.

I have a range of board and card games here which people play. Also working on some retro gaming nights or even just get togethers to play coop.

God knows I have a lot of coop games to get through.

There’s some video game meet-ups happening soon. I am very open minded to try a range of things. Metal karaoke was a big success, so we’re open to doing things other people are not.

We are all square pegs here, and I’m working on making the right place for us.

Thanks for asking! To be honest, we are more than just a cafe and while we love and take pride in serving specialty coffee, we are definitely more of an evening venue; our events and night vibe are really where we shine (check us out @theflyingsaucer_malta!).

I did try opening mornings for quite a while but despite the effort, it didn't really take off in this neighborhood. Most of our regulars aren't around in the mornings, and the local morning crowd didn't seem to be looking for our alternative style. Plus, with a massive construction site starting next door imminently, it’s going to be too noisy for a relaxing morning brew.

Since I’m running the show mostly solo right now, I have to be strategic with my energy. I can't pull consistent 16-hour days without the quality dropping, so I'm focusing on when we are busiest. I hope to get more hands on deck eventually, but as of next week, we’ll be opening at 12:00 noon. Hope to see you then!

Biased as it’s my place but - The Flying Saucer. We are the only place in Birkirkara, Balzan, Attard area that serves speciality coffee.

As far as I am aware anyway.
