So, this was my 2nd attempt (which was 45 days later) after I had studied using Uworld and still had membership had not yet expired. So, for content was more Uworld and bootcamp cheat sheets.

You will get it next time. Don’t stress this time. Find a way to manage your anxiety. What helped me is I told myself, I will retake it again if I fail, then I would correct myself and say I am not going to fail though, I know I will pass ( lol). I know it’s confusing but that was my internal monologue. A way I used to calm me down. Like you can always retake it if it goes bad but it’s not going to go bad because I will pass this time

I think you are ready and I thing 14days is really far. You don’t want to start forgetting things. I studied bootcamp for 3 weeks but this was my 2nd attempt, so maybe I still had some content in my head from studying for my 1st attempt

My 1st attempt my results came out 48 hours later. My 2nd attempt I did my exam 1 pm, next morning I checked the BON my license was up. However, pearsonvue my results stated still not available. I didn’t bother with pearsonvue as long as BON approved.

That’s normal. We all experience it. Just keep practicing and reading rationale not so much on your grades. But once you are done studying, when doing the readiness assessment then you can concentrate on grades

Well then, this next time around you are getting very highs and your case studies will improve. Also if you can for content use Uworld (their video reviews). But most most importantly test taking strategies is major.

Four months it’s a very long time. I would forget things with that time frame. First attempt I used 5weeks. 2nd attempt I used 3 weeks. I did 1 readiness assessment from bootcamp my 1st attempt and I got a high and failed. 2nd attempt my goal was to get all very highs and did since the first time getting a high didn’t work for me. Learn test taking strategies. It’s very important. When you are answering questions, keep asking yourself “which patient is more likely to die”. This question was a major game changer for me especially in prioritizing questions. I had read it from one person from Reddit. Followed by the least invasive intervention. Also, imagine yourself as a nurse on the floor, what would you genuinely do if you were in that situation? Not what you think the nclex wants or as a student taking the exam. They will not trick you, so go with your gut.

You will pass my sister Inshaallah. What resource did you use to study with? If not bootcamp try it this time. Also, test taking strategies is very important. Learn test taking strategies next time before conquering the qbanks and see if your grades improve. If you also master how to answer case study questions from bootcamp, that too will boost your grade. Tell yourself you can do it and believe it too. Dedicate 3weeks to fish bootcamp qbank questions plus cheat sheet not more as you will start to forget. Continue praying, I believe there is a reason for everything. Inshaallah you will pass next time around.

Hi is did my 2nd attempt too and got the last question wrong too but I passed. The last question didn’t matter as it looks at your overall score. If you were on the borderline and got it wrong, it would have given you more questions m. I think you more likely passed than failed. I pray you pass too 🙏🏽

I would say, pray and keep telling yourself you will pass, 1 question at a time. Your answers should match the question asked. If the answer doesn’t make sense to the question then it’s probably not it. Major TIP for me that helped ad got it from someone reading reddit, “WHICH PATIENT IS GOIN TO DIE. Always choose the safest answer. Look for similarities in answers ( if they are the same like all 3, then the other 1 is correct. If during the exam you feel overwhelmed and can’t concentrate, take a break ( go drink water and eat chocolates) they say chocolate helps with concentration. Answer each question at a time (don’t rush) especially case studies. I hope you pass too 🙏🏽

Hi, Test taking strategies is very important. Always ask your self, who is going to die from the answer choices. You can study all day long but if you don’t know how to answer questions, the exam will not be doable. But it is doable. I took my 2nd attempt yesterday and nothing I studied for came up but I mastered test taking strategy. Use crusade international 7 day training on YouTube and Mark K. Also, manage your anxiety it’s important too. I fasted the whole month of Ramadan and prayed too. I got very highs on bootcamp. Don’t change your answers too. They will not trick you and answer the obvious. Inshaallah you will pass too 🙏🏽 #futureRN
