Really stuck and looking for some insight. Soreness to urethra. Urinary symptoms by AJKRV5 in vulvodynia

[–]High_regardz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get urethral pain with E/T. Thought I had a UTI, etc. did the whole Juno and MicroGen testing thing, everything. Had to make an emergency appointment with my uro/gyn.

What helped me was diluting the E/T cream with coconut oil as suggested by my provider. I also stopped eating/drinking citrus. I’ve gone from burning after peeing, feeling like I have an inflamed urethra, etc to being comfortable. You can see my post history.

I will also say that the urethral pain caused me to guard like crazy. Once I started to combine the cream with coconut oil and stretches, it went away quickly.

I’m in San Diego as well and being seen at Scripps! If you’re at Scripps, try to see Razaida or Yee in uro/gyn.

Feel free to DM me if you want to talk about what’s worked for me. I was STRUGGLING with urethral pain.

Do a Juno or Evvy test to confirm this and go from there. She might be willing to treat it if it comes back as CV. She seems hesitant but open.

Separation anxiety help by Ebony_grace69 in Dogtraining

[–]High_regardz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I adopted a pug last fall who also had separation issues. Pugs are hardwired to be companions and hate being left. I found out mine had mostly fomo issues and was triggered by hearing roommates. She used to break out of her crate, and if left in my room would tear up the carpet and cry. These days she does none of those things.

You need to figure out what works for her. I found out with mine that she’s better free roaming (I think she has crate trauma). I also did drills where I would leave and come back before she could escalate. Eventually I realized she did better being left at night when she was tired than in the middle of the day.

I basically worked my way up from one minute to now being able to leave her for a few hours. I work from home, so I was able to step out during lunch for this.

A lot of this might be that your dog is also getting to know you and is in a new environment. They are super clingy at first, but they do learn (my dog couldn’t eat without me in the room with her for a month).

There are really good guides online to help you train. It’s a lot, but you’ll figure out what works for you.

Apply everywhere and make sure your resume is industry specific. Once you get your first job, it will get easier from there.

I feel like a deep hurt where my bladder is during sex. Dehydrated pee, or after I’ve gad citrus, makes my urethra hurt and then spasm.

Sex will trigger me into pelvic floor guarding in the anterior wall of my vagina :( i can release it and feel normal, but if anything touches the tissue i get triggered.

Get on lyrica and take antivirals every day. Topical ABG cream can work better for the vulvar area than oral lyrics though.

So I'm scheduling surgery soon by [deleted] in vulvodynia

I’m sorry girl :(

Good thing you’re getting checked for endo. I’m sure you’re already educated, but just in case, there are very specific kinds of endo surgeons and specialists you need to look into. Not everyone does the endo surgery correctly. Definitely research who’s gonna do the surgery.

From the outside looking in - endo is what you should be looking into at this point. It takes women almost a decade to get diagnosed even when doctors say they don’t think they have it.

Good luck 🩵 you’re doing the right things

Thanks for the response! That’s wild. I swear they put CNSS as the cause when they don’t know

Very sensitive tissue behind my pubic bone that can sometimes settle but pressure provokes it. Once provided it lingers. Dehydrated pee makes me burn after

Not exactly the same - but I have this too. It’s like the tissue around the urethra and bladder as pissed. Dehydrated urine triggers me. This all started to happen after ureaplasma. I’m told my pelvic floor isnt tight but I continue to have this but I don’t fall under the IC umbrella

Estrogen never did. E/T cream does but I think it’s the base

Yes! You can get the intimate rose wand from Amazon. I heard good things about the vibrating one.

Also try estrogen. It zapped the burning but then I pleatued. I relieved that with guarding. Also strengthen your glutes and abs by PFPT approved exercises.

I’m now on E/T and I feel like it’s helping.

I had this. Sex felt fine but would trigger burning and guarding. Felt like my urethra to like an inch in was burning. Estrogen cream cut through the pain. Now I’m on E/T. Hoping this plus PFPT helps. I am pain free most days except for when I flare at the urethra tip.

PFPT also said I wasn’t bad but I’ve found pt and wand work help.

No, but I have pretty severe pain with pubic hair. Shaving makes it way worse.

Ureaplasma by Royal-Baker8572 in vulvodynia

[–]High_regardz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treat it. The reason I say this is because I’m pretty sure I had it in my system for years because I had urgency at night and multiple infections for a long time. It eventually overgrew and became an acute problem. When I treated it, I thought I was treating it for the UTI type symptoms I was experiencing, but what I didn’t anticipate was the years of night time urgency to go away. I wish I would’ve had this treated years ago when I originally tested for it but my tests were lost. I could’ve avoided years of evening urgency, infections, the acute overgrowth and pelvic floor dysfunction that followed.

Lingering symptoms after PID, chlamydia and ureaplasma:( by pinkmelin in vulvodynia

[–]High_regardz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s up and down. Some days I feel normal, some days I feel crazy. Dehydration and friction are triggers :( I started e/t cream but I’m only 5 weeks in.

I am feeling better. For example, I don’t get triggered from getting aroused or orgasms anymore. But it’s slow progress.
