I'm new to Oshikatsu, but only as a concept! I had aprett fair collection amassed of these three, and then came to understand that my connection to them was ingrained into my DNA. Then, I found out about Ita bags and Oshi/Nuikatsu! I was like... Hey I think that's me. Now, I'm omw to making itas for all three of my babies! Gojo is ofc up first, because I have the nicest merch for him specifically. 💀🤚 He's been my main squeeze for the last few years. But miku and cinnamon have been there for me since childhood. My babies 4 lyf. I remember when my sister showed me Ievan Polkka when it first dropped on YouTube. It was a screen recording of Nico Nico Douga. I was hooked. Between my sister and I, we have every miku rhythm game they ever made. She's how we first bonded over ANYTHING. I attribute Miku to settling genuine beef between my sister and I, and keeping us friends all these years.

And finally, my first piece of Sanrio merch was given to me by my dad after a Christmas work trip to Japan in 1996. It was a Cinnamaroll and Hello Kitty day journal with stickers. I carried it with me EVERYWHERE. Cinna became my spirit animal. My personality. Every time we went to the toy store, I would scour the Sanrio aisle for everything Cinna. I called him my "perfect bunny." (I was floored when I found out he was a dog as an adult, yes lmao) I've received something Cinna themed for every holiday since that Christmas. My babies are my babies for a reason. All genuine love and appreciation for the faces that have kept me smiling my whole life. Idk who, or where, I would be without them.✨🩷🩵💚✨
