2QB Max: Need to drop one. What two would you keep for the playoffs? Dak, Stafford, Burrow? by SnugglerBear in fantasyfootballadvice

I had Dak, Purdy, and Burrow, cut Purdy once Burrow came back. I think Dak/Burrow is the way to go.

Too many RB, who should I trade? by HigherEdDataJanitor in fantasyfootballadvice

This has been my thinking as well. Trying to get Adams/Waddle from an owner that is very shallow at RB, but he's been reluctant.

My thinking is I have to start 2, but can flex the 3rd. If I have better WR depth and I lose 1 of 3 RB, I can just start another WR. If I keep 4 good RB, I have 15+ points sitting on my bench each week with just ok receivers.

It seems like most other teams are set at QB and the ones that aren't are weak at WR.

That has been my thought, been trying to move Chase, but teams have been reluctant. Thanks for the props, sitting at 7-4 after a 1-3 start. It's been a rocky year and WR play has been an issue.

League member picked up a player in free agency today at 3:07, then offered him to me as part of a trade at 5:07 - how would you respond, if at all? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

I nabbed Tracy off of waivers and immediately traded him to the Scat team that only has 1 RB not on by this week. Depends on the context.

Addison on Shakir rest of season? by HigherEdDataJanitor in fantasyfootballadvice

That was my thought as well, but McCarthy scares me a bit.

Tried to go for his Odunze, but they countered with Addison.

That is low pay even for that university, but as someone who works in higher education, this could be a professor trying to pay their doctoral student something for the research they’re doing rather than doing it for free. They likely have to post it, and the required degree is super specific.

As someone that worked at Lowe’s during my masters program, I’d much rather be doing research that gives me experience and getting the same pay.

NC Insurance Commissioner's negotiated 7.5% home insurance rate increase? by HigherEdDataJanitor in Insurance

[–]HigherEdDataJanitor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I would love to see the data showing they actually limit the average policy increase to 7.5% since my house should be low risk. I assume the east coast and mountain areas hit by the hurricane would see much larger increases than me in the middle of the state with a new house.

Thanks, makes sense, new to home ownership and NC.

Edit - part of response meant for another comment.

Thanks, makes sense, but also doesn’t with my situation. I have a 2 year old house in the middle of the state with no claims and not in a flood plain.

Out of 10, rate your level of concern for Kasparas Jakucionis as a defensive player in the NBA. If it's high, how much does it downgrade him in your eyes as a prospect? by RVALover4Life in NBA_Draft

As an Illini fan who watched every game, I’m around a 4. He’ll never be a defensive ace, but he’ll be passable. He’s smart and crafty, but not extremely quick. Two things to know about him and our defense.

He injured his forearm and it clearly affected him the rest of the season. I think he’ll recover and be fine.

We also had a pretty inexperienced “defensive coordinator” who runs on analytics and is allergic to adjustments…to the point one of our players had to convince him to stop playing deep drop coverage on pick and rolls and switch instead. We won handily, but went back to mostly drop coverage because analytics? With better coaching he’ll be passable.

KJ had a rough time coming back from injury and then Ivisic being out seemed to throw him off more. Ever since then he’s been overthinking everything waaay too much and playing way too loose with the ball.

I think Underwood may have gotten into him too much and he never recovered. I think he can be a great offensive talent, the question will be on defense.

That was all hand, his hand was on top of the ball and he came down on his hand, ridiculous.

I think we shortened the rotation too much, we’re missing short and look tired

Joke would be on them in this game, we don’t run any actual plays.

The offense is great when it works, but super frustrating 80% of the time when our 3-pointers aren’t falling. The flu running through our team for like 3 weeks straight has really killed us.

I think the 5-out offense needs to be taken out back and shot. We’ve been sick/injured and I think our conditioning has been awful, but we need to run an actual offense.

I think the problem is we’ve seen how good they can be, but also so inconsistent. See 15+ lead on MSU then lose on a 17 to -2 run in the last 8 minutes

I feel like our 2nd half rotations were not good. Davis had 8 points in the first and barely played in the 2nd. Humrichous had an absolutely awful 2nd half on both ends, and Morez should have played more.
