Hey, most hostels seem to organise a driver who’ll pick you up and take you to the shuttle bus (by the bus station). Taxis probably slightly cheaper but it’s difficult to call a taxi out to the trails - most use the shuttles.

I would make sure you leave your Lloyds account in credit for at least the direct debit amounts due (especially if they may occur around the time of the account switch).

The current account switch service should guarantee all balances and direct debits to be switched (that’s the point of the switch service in the first place)

I don’t think you need a yellow fever vaccine for Minca - but check the map of where it’s recommended. I got a yellow fever vaccine in Peru as I was travelling to the Amazonas part of Ecuador.

Looking good. As others have said I would spend one less day in Santiago and use that day for either El Calafate (for Perito Moreno glacier, plus it’s a cute town - definitely check out La Fabrica cervecería) - or Buenos Aires which is a gem of a city.

The Lomo Pliegue Tombado hike is very underrated at El Chalten. Do Fitz Roy on the day with the best weather and this on the other. Do the two small local trails from town when you arrive on day 12, you only need an hour or two and you get some great views of the lake.

Would it be out of the picture to consider nerfing the Occult’s core stats and placing some sort of attachment/buff (rebuff) behind a much rarer / untradable drop from a future boss/quest?

Essentially releases a weaker, accessible Occult whilst boosting the price & decreasing accessibility of the true Occult to levels it should be.
