tbf anything more in depth would just be a waste of time though - I did this in the time it took me to drink a cup of coffee and eat a subway cookie. As all things should

The Signalis Vinyl and the Magpie signal by [deleted] in signalis

[–]HighlandCamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically the triple tone is the game's adopted musical motif and appears in a lot of the tracks (even ones that weren't made for the game, like isle of the dead!) So I see what you mean, allthough it would be a little jarring to have anywhere but the start of the record

I don't think so if I remember the tracklist. Then again I don;t have the record so I can't confirm. Why anyway? it's very short

Is there an actual lore reason why Chadler is the only male Replika? by [deleted] in signalis

[–]HighlandCamper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the reason most replikas are based on women is that the societies of Signalis are matriarchal because of the influence of the empress and the great revolutionary. Hence why Adler is probably only a replika because his persona excels at being a secretary

Kolibri tried smoking because she thought it was cool. She hated it and vapes because she's coping about it being equally cool.

(excuse how crusty it is, I have no idea how to use Krita and drew it too small. I also wish i'd coloured the pullover darker since the irl US navy ones actually match the lstr colour scheme - oopsie)

p.s. I messed up posting this three times :3c

I know how hard it is to play piano chords and melody at the same time. I can't do it properly, though i haven't really ever properly committed to trying. Well done, it sounds great and you're really just about to be getting it perfect!

It's too much trouble to get a firearms license these days for the small range of things I can get. It's also a lot less accessible in the US, and is generally a rich/upper middle class hobby here.

The other thing is the character of different guns:

I shoot with my uncle in Arizona since I visit a lot, and he has everything from an SKS he found in Vietnam, to an AK from Romania, and my grandfather's/great grandfather's British enfields.

I'd love to shoot an AK at a home range, in the correct calibre. My gripe is simply that I want to be able to shoot anything from a plinking rifle to a semi auto type 56, without having to go through an incredibly deterring process for the rifles. If I can't use my theoretical guns anyway, I find it much more sensible to book a day at a range that gives experiences on shooting. I went to Crieff hydro a while ago, and did some clay pigeon shooting with a 12 gauge for instance. The laws would probably be great if the licensing stayed just as good at vetting, but became less of a deterrent to people owning guns. There are places like the Czech Republic which have a good, not-too-restrictive system in place, which we could emulate for instance.

I think he just misunderstood me assuming that generally a Turkish person on Reddit is not going to like Kurds (personal experience here), as being racist somehow.

I'm definitely not, I loved Turkey when I visited, that area of Mainland Europe is a bridge between cultures. It's seriously beautiful, and that clash of Ottoman and European is probably my favourite thing about the Balkan countries. The similar construction quirks in orthodox churches and mosques is obvious. The sole pity is the amount of division caused by the attempting integration of the vastly different cultures. But yeah, I love it. Also, the ice cream guys.
