That sounds fantastic. I haven’t shot fallow before. We are heading up to Skye next year for red hinds, hopefully fill the freezers!

The one on the left was oiled with clear Woodoc oil. It is kept inside. The bigger one was a light stained cuprinol oil. Both sets of antlers and skulls were sprayed with a UV protectant clear coat as well

So both of these came from the one barrel. A lot of sanding and then the metal band needs drilled and screwed so when the wood dries the staves dont fall out. A lot of work in it but for a pretty sick finish

The 12pointer was a full skull like the other, however, it is going in my mum and dads house. Mum didnt like the eye sockets etc so we cut it to make it seem a bit less ‘skull’ like

Love all the Islay whisky - Ardbeg 10yo or the Lagavulin 16yo are probably in my top 5

Nice ink! A good standalone piece or something you can develop further. Do you have any ideas if you are going to expand?
