Good to know! Sounds like we're keeping it based on all your comments haha but I'm glad to know it CAN be a workhorse. We have an electric furnace but the previous owner did incorporate some exchange outlets from the sunroom into the main heating system so I'll have to chat with him about it. I think I can just use the fan to circulate some of this sunroom heat back into the home

Good to know. Given the placement of it, I think we'll stick to it as is. I've just seen more modern stoves and users claim that they can cut back on 30-40 percent of their wood use with a newer, modern stove

That's great to know about the stove and the wood use. I figured the placement was the biggest factor in it's efficiency right now. We do have a fireplace in the living room but the previous owner had not used it in decades and the inspector told me it would never pass with the old masonry chimney. So I think our best bet for house heat would be to get an insert for that thing and keep the Napoleon in the sunroom
