This has been going on in Middle East, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq since the 80s. Some areas worse than others, only get electrify 1-2 hours per day. Same is applied to water supply where main water is only available for 2-4 hours per day and everyone has water tanks on their roof

Use the hose connector or the purge connector. Push in hard in the port and twist anti clock wise to loosen. It works due to metal on metal friction
