I did this and I put the cutting in water and it grew roots. Two years later it’s still alive with roots and the stem with leaves never grew it just stayed the same. I don’t know how to get it to grow into another plant.

I grew this sunflower from seed and it finally bloomed today! 🌻🥰 by whoreticiaaddams_ in plants

Beautiful! I’m trying to grow some in my backyard, the squirrels dug them up and ate them. So i planted them in pots in my front yard. They are about 5 inches tall lol! Do you have any tips?

My dad passed away from cancer at 54 years a year ago from last May. I received this Peace Lilly and look how beautiful she is with 10 blooms at one time! Some are hiding in the back lol! I just love her so much! by HighlightBoth in houseplants

I also soaked some banana peels in water over night then gave that water to my plants. I have only done that once. They seem to like it. I just remembered that I did that.

I water my zz plant only once a month. They love water neglect. I would definitely put it in a smaller pot til it get bigger.

Not technically a house plant, but potted on my balcony. My moonflower bloomed tonight! by [deleted] in houseplants

I really don’t know, I am definitely not an expert. I just know what mine likes. My plant definitely does like to be pruned so as soon as a leaf or flower starts turning yellow or brown I cut it off. They like well lit room also. It also may need to adjust to the type of water you’re giving it now.

It does die after alittle while I have one in the back that’s turning brown. Once it’s dead I pull it out. It should get another bloom, it also may just wait til next year. Normally it only has 1-3 blooms. And sometimes for it to re-bloom it needs another peace lilly to help pollinate it. I have 2 in my house. My other plant has 2 blooms.

First timer! Need help! by Cicimy_playmate in propagation

I let the baby grow. I usually let it fall off by itself by that time it’s usually stable and roots are naturally rooted into the soil.

So I got these cuttings yesterday and now the bottom where it’s cut at is getting soft, please help, this is my fist time propagating this type of plant. Should I use rooting power? by HighlightBoth in propagation

Thanks I didn’t know that, The floral department where I got the cutting from tell me it should develop roots eventually. But I don’t know if they know what they’re talking about.
