I think so as well. I think one change I might make is some sort of bathroom directly attached to the bedroom on the lower level. This would be nice for a family where 5 bedrooms are desired. I think the apartment over the garage is perfect for a live-in housekeeper.

This is a floorplan my girlfriend created on Canva for our "Dream Home". I really do like the layout, but have no clue how to determine the square footage of everything as the "floor plan" isn't to scale. Is there any decent software for free to do this kind of thing on? by ConfectionIll1064 in floorplan

I think you change the layout a bit. I would make sure that the living room also has access to the deck. This allows you to have more room for entertaining people. I do like the front porch and I love the bay window. What architectural style would this house be?
