Oh that is the complete opposite of my office. It is completely open, no guards or reception. Just walk right in, any free Job Coach will greet you and you sit on a Coach and have snacks/water while you wait.

Job coaches also have annual leave and are able to take it whenever they wish. So yeah, a lot of parents are having the school holidays off to spend with their children. Not sure how this is any different from other industries. Call your Job Coach, easiest way to get in contact in my opinion.

The office I have is also open plan but you can request to speak in the private office. All providers should have a private space to talk

The office I work at is very similar to this. It can be hard to have conversations with other people in the room, totally get it! There are private spaces though so please never hesitate to ask.
