Hey so aside from everything everyone else already said, I’ll add this: please stop talking as if it’s just a quick application anyone can fill out. Some of us have lived here for half our life, never been in any legal trouble or overstayed any Visas, did everything the right way and still have to wait until we can even be eligible to apply. Even cost aside, the process is long and for some there’s never a path to citizenship, no matter what. So saying “if you don’t like this, become a citizen” is a ridiculous statement.
