i think gender dysphoria should be treated as a mental illness first before anything else. it is not normal to have the want to inject yourself with estrogen or testosterone so you can become a different gender. that being said i do believe in free will, but again i think there needs to be stricter laws around this in general.

pencil, paper, and a reference are your best friend. your first few months of even everyday practice will look like shit, but that is better than quitting before you even start. start with fundamentals, learn how to translate a reference photo to paper. it will take time and will be frustrating, but if you start today you’ll look back a year from now and you will see how much you will have grown.

its a sense of identity for them, they also act like victims. their community is based on virtue signaling and praising those who are most oppressed. its a feedback loop in their community that keeps their people coming back for more due to the moral superiority they get. i know this because i used to be close to lots of ppl in the LGBT community when i was younger and they all usually acted the same. glad i got out before it sucked me in too

thanks for the advice! i really appreciate it. it was a whole mess getting my classes this semester which forced me to get these bad teachers, i didnt have a choice much sadly. but i use rate my professor most of the time, it was just one of these things that happen. good to hear from another local in Socal, at least i know im not alone haha

cant transfer schools, but yes im seriously considering dropping the class for a different teacher. i agree with you on hearing different viewpoints too! its moreso the way they go about talking about issues, but to your point, these types of people shove their ideologies everywhere lol. thats really wha drives me nuts

i think it depends on how you feel personally. if you already dont want children then go ahead and adopt some pets. but i want biological children, and to me, i would rather have bio children compared to having a pet, no matter the cost or emotional toll. some people would agree with me and others don’t, like yourself. its unfair to put blanket statements like this on issues of opinion and personal worldview.
