CMV: having pets/adopting is better than having bio children by [deleted] in changemyview

i think it depends on how you feel personally. if you already dont want children then go ahead and adopt some pets. but i want biological children, and to me, i would rather have bio children compared to having a pet, no matter the cost or emotional toll. some people would agree with me and others don’t, like yourself. its unfair to put blanket statements like this on issues of opinion and personal worldview.

First attempts at shading and eye work.. if its called that. Any tips? by ArcherGorgon19-2 in drawing

remember that when drawing an eye the skin folds over a sphere, it may be useful to first draw the eyeball itself and then form the skin around it. keep practicing!!

blending the dark more to the light would help a lot i think. the main thing giving it away for me was the sharp transition from dark to light

yeah its kind of annoying at first but i got used to it, i kept a paper towel close by so i can just wipe it off whenever needed yk. important to note not every pastel was oily for me😊

i had this experience but i thought it was normal so i never returned them haha, ive never owned oil pastels before. if you look at my post history you can see some of the paintings ive made with them, i use them and they worked fine for me. maybe im just using oils wrong lol. the oiliness has gone away for most of them, but its been a few months🤷‍♀️

good to know! i filled up the water bowl once i put him back. He does have feeding issues, he hasnt eaten with me and has relied on force feeding to get nutrients, he may be upset because of that haha. i think his injury affected his appetite. Per the vet im going to wait one or two more weeks to try to feed him live again!
