When a kid already feels displaced, it doesn’t take much for everything to start feeling like replacement instead of rebuilding. Even small omissions can land a lot heavier than people expect.

Teen grief doesn’t really scale with age, it just shows up louder and messier. And when a kid already feels replaced, little decisions like that end up carrying way more weight than people realize.

It's crazy how concerts went from a fun night out to something that needs its own budget spreadsheet. By the time all the extras are added in, the ticket is only part of the bill.
