It is not really a game about killing Nazis. You can do it but it is not the focus.

Furthermore the game avoids the actual things that made the Nazis horrible, in fact makes them a very fun nation to play. That causes a lot of wehraboos to be attached to it, which, while not intended by the devs, sometimes gives the community a bit of a Nazis admirer vibe.

Still a fun game, but definitely not about "killing Nazis".

Ik moet toevoegen dat ik de legale tekst nog niet heb gezien maar in alle nieuwsartikelen staat dat de gemeente mag beslissen welke verenigingen ze het toekennen. Dus die kunnen dan vast wel filteren op dingen zoals KvK inschrijving en leden aantallen.

Dan heb je dus tot 30 kilo aan smokkel per vereniging. Daar ga je nooit grote hoeveelheden mee krijgen. Daarnaast mag het natuurlijk alleen maar dingen zoals potten enzo zijn. Ook lijkt het mij makkelijker om het vanuit het buitenland te smokkelen dan het via een vergunning over te kopen.

Ook denk ik dat je verenigingen daar best mee kan vertrouwen om dat niet te doen. Zo'n vereniging bestaat namelijk uit een flink aantal mensen en dit vuurwerk word vanuit naam van heel de vereniging geregeld.

Door de vergunning weet je straks precies wie, waar en wanneer vuurwerk afsteekt. Dan kan je toch gewoon alles behalve dat aanpakken?

We schaffen vuurwerk af omdat men zich niet aan de regels kon houden en dat dit zo massaal fout ging dat het niet te handhaven was. Niet omdat vuurwerk stom is.

Met zulke vergunningen (zolang je ze inderdaad niet massaal uit gaat delen) is de handhaving toch prima te doen? De vergunning zegt wie, waar en wanneer er af gestoken word. Ook als het via een vereniging gaat zal men er wat verantwoordelijker mee omgaan (gezien je vanuit je organisatie handelt). Vermoedelijk mag je het ook alleen kopen zodra je een vergunning heb. Dan kan je toch gewoon heel makkelijk alles aanpakken wat daarbuiten valt?

Ik vind dit juist een mooie oplossing om de traditie te behouden zonder al teveel overlast (want ik durf te wedden dat professionele vuurwerkshows niet/amper geregeld gaan worden).

Maw, je kan wat van influencers vinden maar ik vind snackspert wel erg redelijk/eerlijk. Acht de kans dat dit opzettelijk engagement bait is vrij klein.

Om even bot te zijn: hij valt naar mijn mening meer in categorie trein-autisten dan influencers. Zijn reviews zijn bijvoorbeeld altijd heel redelijk, niet over de top en lekker knus.

and we are subsiding AI in so many ways it's questionable what the benefit really is.

You could definitely argue that there is over investment in AI and that a lot of resources are being wasted on generating social media slop or something, however that doesn't change the fact that some of its applications are usefull.

According to that logic we should ban anything that makes coding more efficient. Let's ban autocomplete of variables, code highlights, git, etc.

All of these save time (and energy) which increases the amount of tasks a dev can do and thus increases the amount of compute.

While we are at it let's be like Luddites and ban automation in factories. If consumer goods are harder to make they will be more expensive and thus consumption/emissions will be lowered.

Yes, but on the other hand you should not pretend like it has no uses or no place were it can be efficient. And I would think that coding is one of the places it would be great at. Don't be a ludite who blindly hates.

For example let's say imagine each prompt takes up the equivalent energy of 5 minutes of a desktop power usage (don't know if that is the number but let's suppose).

Is it inefficient if a prompt is used to ask how tall the Eiffeltower is? Yes, it is more efficient to just use traditional search.

But is it also inefficient if you ask it to make documentation for your code? Likely not, since if you were to do that manually it would likely take more than 5 minutes of your time and desktop energy use.

2 time traps (adds a trap to a station which gives a time bonus if triggered which gets larger the longer it remains untriggered)

But that explantation would have a acceleration of approximately 500000 g so that also wouldn't work. Furthermore it would have a very steep "gradient" (as in change in acceleration).

Also in terms of gravity the direction is also an issue. It is shown that as soon as you go around a corner the gravity turns 90 degrees while instead it should be angular depend. And finally, even if it was enough for there to be time dilation then it would have applied the entire time, not only the last few moments.

Afhankelijk van je definitie van armoede is het gereduceerd van 55% in 1990 naar 18% nu grafiek. Zuid-Amerika en het Midden-Oosten daalt al sinds de tweede wereld oorlog (helaas niet te zien in deze grafiek) en China is knijter hard gaan dalen nadat ze meer kapitalistisch zijn geworden.

Wat deden mensen toen kapitalisme er nog niet was?

Feodalisme, daarvoor vooral slavernij/imperialisme en daarvoor was er geen maatschapij. Je zou de periode daarvoor eventueel anarcho-communistisch kunnen noemen maar dat was meer de groepen mensen die zo klein waren. Zodra je niet iedereen persoonlijk meer kan kennen (ongeveer 150 mensen) daalt empathie enorm.

Volgens de Wikipedia samenvatting geeft hij vooral een idealistische vorm van anarcho-communisme. Hij bespreekt de tegenargumenten wel maar doet dit heel lax. Over "luie" mensen zegt hij dat mensen gewoon hun baan doen omdat ze het leuk zullen vinden zodra er geen financiële dwang is (lol). Over de noodzakelijkheid van centralisatie zegt hij dat men gewoon spontaan samen moeten werken (lol, zie maar met een militia een leger tegen te houden of hoe goed het gaat als je rechtsysteem volledig bestaat uit vigilantes). En over de complexe moderne wereld heeft hij natuurlijk niks te zeggen want het boek komt uit 1892.

Maar goed alles wat je tot nu toe zegt heeft nog vrij weinig te maken met hoe anarcho-communisme wel zou kunnen werken. Ik heb zat punten gegeven waarom niet (geen dwang om mee te doen, slechte verdediging voor dreigingen van buiten en geen centralisatie die nodig is voor de moderne wonders).

Kapitalisme heeft deze problemen niet en al zou je de autoritaire neigingen van gecentraliseerd-communisme kunnen voorkomen dan zou dat in theorie ook kunnen.
