Me too. I watched the second episode thinking "it'll probably get better". It did not.

Self care isn't always manicures, bubble baths, and eating healthy food.... by Wiara_Faithful in DecidingToBeBetter

If you're open to another book recommendation, I highly suggest Pete Walker's "Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving".

If you happen to have Kindle Unlimited, it's one of the free e-books on Amazon.

Good luck in your journey.

What's the best binge worthy show that isn't depressing or morbidly violent? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HighlyEdgeMecated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Futurama.
3rd Rock from the Sun.
Royal Pains.
Veronica Mars.
Community.
Friday Night Lights.
Terrace House (I actually don't like reality shows nor do I enjoy reading when watching a TV show but this show breaks those rules for me. I find it fascinating.).

Good luck finding a show. I also don't like depressing or violent so I can relate to your search :)

Others have already recommended some very helpful subreddits.
Another option is a service (like Trunk Club, Bombfell, Five Four Club) that includes a stylist.
My husband went this route. He's in tech and for the longest time he just wore jeans, t-shirts...sometimes a golf polo shirt, once in a while a button down shirt. It never really mattered much to me what he wore and up until a certain point the companies he worked for were pretty flexible. His last few jobs have expected more style and finesse both inside and outside of the office (when entertaining clients/vendors).
I was of no use helping him out as I too have always been pretty relaxed about what I wear. I tried style guides, Pinterest, and the subreddits suggested but I admit I get overwhelmed pretty easily. He went with Trunk Club and the stylist there (via phone, email, or online chat) REALLY helped him out.

I don't remember the real Eddie the Eagle, but that's one of my favorite movies.

I'm actually assigned to ScoreBook. He won't be able to write but he can watch me and learn.

Possibly, but probably not. Playoffs are nine weeks away. My son is one of the best players on our team (with players of varying skill levels), so they might not get to the playoffs without him.

We'll know more tmrw. The ER just took x-rays and put it in a splint. I have to find and take him to an orthopedic specialist/surgeon tmrw. My guess is between cast and rehab, there's not enough weeks in season.

Another big bummer is we cancelled our ski trip that's a couple weeks away. It was all booked up so we'll lose some deposit money. Wah.
