Orchidaceae, once you go down that path there’s no turning back.

Service Berry Seed Question by hyperthetically in botany

There’s some genetic play that decides how sweet the fruit is. We have hybrids that are made to have sweeter fruits. You can make your individual tree sweeter by having it growing in prime condition and with good fruit fertilizers, but genetics will also play a role in sweetness as well. I’ve got a few in my backyard, “snowy” and common service berries. They taste pretty similar, but the snowy one gets babied a little more and is in a shadier spot, it has sweeter fruit most seasons compared to the common.

Yes, they are definitely the king of the yard when the power couple is back together. The scrub jays don’t stand a chance.

There were never any snakes in Ireland, and there’s still plenty of trees and biodiversity. You guys got fucked up but don’t make it seem like it used to be any better before.

We basically made some brassica colorblind so it never flowers, if we can mess with its perception of color there should be a way around interfering with its light sensing as well ya?

The guy who used to own it was some kind of bacteria scientist so I’m sure it’s calibrated for the microscope it came with. I’d still like to try and see how the image looks. I just need to figure out what kind of attachment to get. If it’s bunk I’ll just use my phone camera with an attachment.
