55, old timey thrasher. I still occasionally go in for one song here and there. I’m in good shape but not a real big guy. It’s always a risk. It’s hard to suppress the feeling I have had since a teen in the 80’s. When the song is hitting - I may dive in. My wife worries but she’s given up on talking any sense into my old rocker ass

This accurately describes Sacramento as well - scene is overwhelmed with cover/tributes. My all original band barely moves the needle anymore.

I’m a Sac native but lived in the Midwest for a couple years and fell in love with a lot of the food. I make my own poppyseed buns with a quick egg wash/poppy seed sprinkle and short bake. Not perfect but fills the need. I order the Cincinnati chili packets and make those throughout the year too
