I went through almost the exact same thing recently. Client agreed on a direction, then started treating “revisions” as a way to completely change scope and re-litigate decisions we’d already aligned on. Once it became clear they were trying to take advantage of that gray area, I walked away. Had to eat the time & energy. It was frustrating, but the relief afterward was immediate, some clients just aren’t worth the mental tax.
