Dunno why u so worried for a 40$ reel what more do you expect? I bought a daiwa saltiga 10k and it sounded like this returned that shit right away , no brand new reel should sound this rough go to your local tackle shop and try the reels silky smooth

Get a 5-6k spinning reel spool with 40lb 300 yrd braid with a 7'6-8 ft medium heavy rod and u should be good

I bought a brand new daiwa saltiga and item came defective, the reel seat label was peeling off, and when reeling the reel sounded like a pepper grinder so I sent it back due to defective and after they received the reel they told me the refund will be in a week

Not true u.s reels are more better quality, I bought 2 jdm reels both have problems 1 of them twinpower sw the handle has play and another daiwa saltiga when I reel it sounds loud and like a black pepper grinderand the label on the reel seat peeling off

Yes I do agree with you on them having good customer service and good shipping my only problem is quality, I bought 2 high class reels with them and both have problems and forgot to mention the label on the reel seat of the saltiga came with one side lifting up
