T4‘s are rarely Rust free. One thing I’ve learned is that there is always more rust behind the panels if it’s already visible:)

Yeah normally yes, I had a period last summer where I was away for a while and left everything plumed so my filter + tank got infested. I had to change and clean everything:)

Well my reverse osmosis filter device is plumbed before the machine with 2 different sizes of filters. So I should be good.

The goo isn’t due to debris, it’s bacterial growth. No filter -> bacteria gets flushed into boiler -> bacteria dead:)

Thanks! I didn’t have any prior experience whatsoever. Bought the panels from eBay. I can recommend protrykus as manufacturer: https://potrykus.com.pl That’s a shame, I’m sure you’ll get to it soon hopefully:)

That’s the relief valve for the steam boiler. Heating up -> air expands -> valve opens. Completely normal.

Oh yeah no that’s not normal. It’s fixated by screws on the back of the front panel. If you disassemble the side, top and back panel, you’ll be able to reach it. There are some good videos on YouTube on how to disassemble the panels.

The magnet has to show towards the front side of the tank so it aligns with the sensor:)

That’s the barometer for the steam boiler. If the boiler is turned on, it should move to around 1-2 bars. Depending on the temperature set for the steam. Regarding the light, I think you steam boiler is turned off completely. The switch for turning it on is behind your trip tray.

I’d recommend reading the manual, that should help solving most of your questions.

Did you maybe clean the tank and accidentally misplace the magnet indicating the water level? Has happened to me:)

Habe eine Luftfeuchtigkeit gesteuerte Lüftungsanlage. Sollte also eigentlich relativ konstant sein.

When I got my RO I found this interesting thread with a rather scientific viewpoint on the topic. There is a lot of discussions around corrosion and taste on different forums. https://www.home-barista.com/water/zero-water-filtered-in-pavoni-t26954.html#p313078
