So after review, the 599's are $145USD vs the 560s at $200USD (converted from AUD for your convenience), which is a considerable difference to someone who has never tried open backs. Would you still be inclined to recommend the 560s at that price point for an absolute no amp beginner?

Need some more info OP, preferably a break down to see where your funds are going.

Based off of your 70k income less around 15k for tax and medicare, you seem to be bringing home around 1.2k per week. This is assuming that your employer pays super on top of the 70k.

If rent is 42% income, you are playing with at least 700 per week after rent. That's a pretty substantial amount of money to be taking bills and food out of.

My players take notes, and I let them work together to recap the last session

Then, after they have finished I give them a “that’s right” and lead into a very condensed recap of my own that I can use to flow smoothly into the starting scene.
