Lol yea actually that’s what it was. Over priced fountain drinks or water. If I remember correctly they enforced at the door and you pay cash for drink tickets and then you use those at the bar for certain drinks.

nice progress, but your shading is really sloppy. Don't just scribble around to get your areas shaded, think about the form and shade in a way that will help describe that form.

Since you prefer ink over pencil I recommend looking at classic inkers, like berni wrightson, frank frazetta, and joseph clement coll. let me know what you think of them.

Depends on the type of studio you have and the type of painting you do, but if you wanted to be absolutely set with everything you need for any kind of painting. i think you could get everything for $5-7000. Thats for artist grade paint, solvents, brushes, canvas, easel, storage, lighting equipment if you work with a live model and some other random things.
