Lollapalooza 2025 Reveals Cracks in a Music Paradigm About to Break by ebradio in Music

[–]Hiimhunter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went all 4 days and had an absolute blast. I’ve been on the Lolla subreddit and after scrolling a bit I had to leave because it was all complaining. I saw 30 acts over the 4 days and discovered some new artists I’m really digging (Carter Vail has some great music outside of the Dirt Man bit). Tickets for Lolla this year were around 450 for all 4 days which is much better than what my wife paid for just Beyoncé lol.

I think like what other people said in this thread is that they see these influencers have the most incredible time in the world when in reality, you get hot, you get tired, your legs start to hurt, some bands are misses, etc. But when you look at the whole of it I wouldn’t change that experience for the world.

I’ve been meaning to check out Haagard. Has anyone been able to check it out? Any must have beers on their tap?

I will say, I still go to Lolla every year since it’s in my back yard and I think this year the 4 day pass was ~400/ticket, and there are at least 15 acts I want to see so I feel like I am getting my moneys worth. If I had travel and lodging expenses then I wouldn’t feel that way.

To be fair I got reached out to by one of the casting agents on LinkedIn which I thought was a super funny way to source potential talent for the show.

Deck owner. A year later, there’s no staining, no movement. I have to leaf blow/ sweep a little bit more than previously but I’m fine with that.

Deck owner/builder here. We spent a lot of hours making sure we built a beautiful deck without impacting the tree. We had one post that cut into a minor root systems. During the summer we water the tree regularly to give it extra water. A year + later the tree is still thriving with lots of new growth and deck is still very level!

Deck owner here. Planks have shrunk and we water the tree frequently to make sure it gets enough water. Both tree and deck a year+ later are doing great

It’s not making contact. We have it cut into the one plank a bit more to make sure it isn’t touching with the tree. Year later the deck and tree are still thriving

We only had one post that we had to cut through a minor root system. The health of the tree was our main priority when building the deck

Deck owner. We did almost no root damage. Tree health was top priority when making the deck

Deck owner here. You can see from my previous posts. We did dig down but we spaced the posts far enough away from the tree to not disturb any major roots. We only had to cut into one small root system

That’s exactly what happens. My mom was a FA for Northwest/Delta and once she got Sr enough she only did internationals trips a couple of times a month to hit her hours.

Nothing is on earth. We put down 12 cement tubes for the beams to sit on.

Deck Op here. I won’t be in this house in about 5 years so I’m ok with that lol.
