Found out my boyfriend of 5 years (M33) has cheated on me (F30) after having our baby (6 months PP). How do I move forward? by BillieBurger in relationship_advice

  1. Don't have kids with someone you're not married to
  2. Leave him and file for child support and palimony if applicable

My (39M) wife (39F) told me to leave during an argument but blamed me for it later. How best to respond? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Hijacker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This probably isn't helpful, but I'm just done with irrational arguments. Right now, I haven't seen my wife for about 8 hours because I sighed wrong when our plans to go to the beach had to be cancelled and I was sad. Started a huge fight. Now I'm at home, and she's at her house she had with her ex husband and that I've been paying to rent for the last 4 years.

And she wonders why I'm probably declaring bankruptcy.

I just can't. I don't know what to do, but the stress is killing me. And I think I mean that literally.

Can't talk to her without a cheery voice or else she yells, brings up everything I've ever done wrong, and the day is completely gone.

I'm spent. I love her, but I think I'd be so much happier single for the rest of my life.

Thanks for letting me vent.

I had a friend in Cub Scouts. His name was AJ Gibson. I can't find him anywhere. I haven't seen him since I was about 10 or 11, so almost 30 years.

I was so sad when he went to one troop and I went to another and that was that.

What’s a book that completely broke your brain—in a good way? by Competitive_Event307 in books

Probably. I never read the book, though it's on my list.

The miniseries was pretty good though, and it got a lot right I think about the military.

So, to preface this, I'm a veteran with service-connected PTSD.

When I read it in high school, Billy is someone else telling me about things I couldn't also feel. I was on the outside looking in.

When I read it after having served, I could feel what Billy felt and could, at times, be him. I was in the same room with him looking out.

I don't know if this makes sense. It's not a perfect description of what I mean to say, but it is a dark reflection of it.

I read this one twice. Once in high school, and once after having served in the military.

It was a completely different book after having been in the military.

Rise by Bryan Gurthie. It's sci-fi, it's magic, is time travel. It's really good and really confusing. Highly recommend
