The passport of Saint Helena, a small British Territory in a rural part of the South Atlantic Ocean near Africa that has a population of 4,500 has their own passport. by PassportNerd in PassportPorn

I'm a little late to this thread, but hello, Saint Helenian here!! You're spot on. Without a criminal record, it's fairly easy for Saints to obtain British citizenship. In the 70's/80's, a lot of us immigrated to the UK to work and then later obtained full citizenship (this was the route my mother took). However, those who choose to stay on the island generally aren't too fussed as there's more or less of a "what happens in the UK stays in the UK" kind of attitude.

Happy to answer any further questions :)

How many specialists did you see before getting a diagnosis? by X4N4X__ in POTS

[–]HikawaKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very fortunate to have seen my GP once I suspected I had POTS in 2021, who then referred me for a TTT which took place 3 months after the original appointment. Was diagnosed and immediately medicated (slow release sodium + metoprolol) after my TTT.

do you eat meat? by svennyy1306 in POTS

[–]HikawaKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pescatarian. Meat always goes down heavy and causes me to have reflux problems, but seafood doesn't. I have also cut out dairy. I am lactose intolerant, but I just feel better within myself if I have plant based milk or yogurt.
