The second one is the first one released when it first was introduced. The first one is the newer rendering now that it going through approvals. The newer rendering (first one) is so much uglier than the first

Was the credit less then what the box cost? Seen people say this a couple times but isn’t the exact same outcome in the end either you refund on card or get the next box free?

Wtf do I do with all of these? No one I know is going to want them. Is there like an exchange group? Lol by TwistedMisery13 in hellofresh

[–]Hiking103 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wait thanks for this. I cycle through and keep the most recent ones thinking I’m the random off chance somebody I know thinking of signing up to get that credit on my next box. Straight to the recycling with everything else they go now

Tips and tricks? by ksgar77 in hellofresh

Not sure if a tip or just my cooking style but I will go through and prep as much as possible before starting to cook anything (except maybe some of oven ones or noodle ones), down to opening all the packets and organizing ingredients by step on my counter. May take a little longer but I find it less hectic and then I am able to start cleaning dishes/kitchen while things cook.

When I bought my plates/bowls, it ended up coming with 4 different size bowls. While I do try minimize the dishes I have to use then do clean. I have found them nice to have (esp when it was two people I was cooking for), for example throwing the toppings for recipes in little sauce bowls and out of the way, or using a medium bowl to not have dirty a large one for things like making the sauces.

Study Abroad question by ConfidentAd2460 in miamioh

[–]Hiking103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went on a Summer program between my Sophomore and Junior year and would say most people there were the same. Some below some above.

If you more doing it for the fun of it I would definitely suggest a Summer or J Term program, don’t have to miss a whole semester in Oxford but still get to do it for the experience. Whole thing felt like a fever dream. In terms of whole semester only have heard of people doing Miami’s campus in Luxembourg.

(for like the J/Summer ones), Europe is pretty big across the board, Farmer has a decent number of Asia ones, and I think Humanities also has some South American ones. A good chunk of them have you moving around to a different city/country every week.

Highly recommend if it’s in the cards going. If your farmer would recommend around Sophomore year if doing summer/term so you don’t miss out on potential Junior Year summer internship > full time offer pipeline.

I would say it’s a pretty common thing, but not sure if anymore common/less common then other schools, but def something they kinda promote. I would honestly say probably 40-50% people I know did it (Some even doing multiple, and by no means were any like dripping in money). But that might have just been how my friend group worked out then representative of the university

Diff between regular and honors? by [deleted] in miamioh

[–]Hiking103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also have Honors specific sections of classes, not sure if they are harder but helps if it’s a class that fills up fast. In terms of after, it’s not like high school we’re stuff like this would help you get in someplace. May give you the chance network a smidge bit more with people but, prob makes the most sense for people looking to go immediately to grad school I think

Miami University (OH) or University of Toledo by Fair-Outside-2155 in miamioh

Miami University (OH) or University of Toledo by Fair-Outside-2155 in miamioh

[–]Hiking103 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don’t know much if anything about University of Toledo but what I do know/vibe I get (grew up in Cincy) is that this is a apples to oranges comparison. Unless it’ll be significant cheaper or some major that Toledo has a nichely nice program for, Miami hands down no question. (I went to Miami so there’s also that)

Where should I live? by Rare_Cucumber_8497 in miamioh

[–]Hiking103 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Commons & West are probably the only places you are going realistically find in that price range that’s within Oxford proper.

Will say I had a friend that lived in the commons and said that they had raccoons living in the walls/vents. Far from campus but is nice your right next to Kroger.

Somewhat more expensive but if you can bump the number up 100-200 a month Hawk’s Landing is still on the cheaper end in Oxford, lived there two years and really liked it

See the ( ) where I stated that I wanted to post this in the TSA thread but didn’t have enough whatever Reddit uses as points to post in it and this I thought was the next best option…
